Sleigh

Treasures of an era gone by
Of Christmases long past;
Of carriage rides and Christmastides,
And memories that last.

Sleigh rides down the streets of snow
The sounds of Christmas joy:
Choirs singing; church bells ringing,
Simple pleasures to enjoy.

This Christmas too will soon be gone:
A distant memory.
The Christmas lights, and special nights,
Around the Christmas tree.
