Making your pictures smaller in size (kilobytes) makes them easier (and faster) to send via email. The people you send them too will appreciate it as well, because they'll download and open faster. If you're using Windows XP you can reduce the size of your pictures and send them by following the simple steps below:

Step #1. Find the picture you want to send and right click on it (if you'd like to send multiple files, hold down the CTRL key while selecting each file you want to send). After you've selected the picture or pictures you'd like to send, click "Send To" in the drop down menu that opens. Next click Mail Recipient (see below).

Step #2: A Dialog Window Appears (see below). Leave it set to its default setting "Make My Pictures Smaller"   Click OK.

Step #3: An Outlook Express Compose Window opens showing your picture(s) attached to the email. It will be reduced in size and send nicely in your email! Go ahead and type a message to your recipient and send it. It's easy!
