Reveal Your Password in Windows 10

Windows 10 has a feature called password reveal which shows the password you typed – so you can be sure it’s the password you wanted to type. If you have a long password, it’s easy to type an incorrect character. So the advantage to password reveal is that you can check to make sure your password is correct. Of course the disadvantage is that anyone looking can see your password too.

You can disable this feature if you want, but you’d be wiser to do what we’ve been telling you to do for the past decad: Download a password manager like LastPass or RoboForm or any of the others now available – some of the best ones are free, like LastPass.

We wanted all of you to know what password reveal looks like (Internet Explorer and Windows). You will find it does not work in Chrome — which is actually a really good thing we think.
