EB says you can’t have too much money, too much chocolate or too many men. Well? That’s what she says. I say you can’t have too much information, because information sets you free. The more you know, the better decisions you’ll make. While EB is sitting there stuffing chocolate in her face, and ogling men on Facebook, I’m sitting here slaving away writing this newsletter. So you tell me? Is life fair?
You want information? MemInfo gives you information. Lots of it. MemInfo Displays the current memory (RAM or Page File) usage of Windows in the system tray. With a small gauge graphic and the value updated in real time, MemInfo gives a fast feedback to current memory usage in Windows. Highly customizable: Choose when MemInfo should warn you about high memory usage, show physical memory or Windows page file, show free or used memory, or even choose the font or color themes.
Once installed, it will appear in your system tray and show memory usage. If you hover over the icon, you can see more details (see screenshot below).
Windows Vista and 7 automatically hide tray icons; if you wish to have the memory icon always visible. please edit MemInfo to always show (enable tray icon to show).
MemInfo also has a memory defragmenter; right mouse click icon to use this feature. Built in memory Defragmenter will speed up your computer by maximizing the available free memory.
You need more information – MemInfo’s got it. It’s totally free. And you can get it here.
