KNOW ABOUT THE “SPACED OUT” TIP VERY WELL, BUT NOT TO MY LIKING. I’LL BE TYPING, TEXT BECOMES HIGHLIGHTED BY ITSELF, AND PRESTO, WHEN I HIT THE SPACE BAR, A GOOD CHUNK OF MY EMAIL IS MISSING. GRRRR. MY MOUSE PAD HAS A MIND OF ITS OWN. IN FACT, WHILE WRITING THIS, THE CURSOR HAS MOVED 3 TIMES AND I HAD TO GO BACK AND DELETE UNWANTED LETTERS, PUNCTUATION, ETC. MOST ANNOYING. I’D LOVE TO USE A REGULAR MOUSE BUT UNFORTUNATELY I CAN’T GET MY RIGHT ARM/HAND UP HIGH ENOUGH TO USE IT. HAVE TRIED DOING IT ON MY THIGH BUT MY HAND GOES ALL OVER THE PLACE! I USUALLY SEE THE HIGHLIGHTED TEXT RIGHT AS I HIT THE SPACE BAR AND IT’S TOO LATE. ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR STOPPING UNWANTED HIGHLIGHTING? NOW THAT WOULD BE A GREAT TIP. (I HOPE YOU REALIZE THAT I AM NOT YELLING. I CAN ONLY TYPE WITH ONE FINGER AND PREFER TO USES CAPS AS I CAN’T STAND LETTERS WHICH SHOULD BE CAPITALIZED WHICH ARE NOT.)

You could purchase a remote infra red mouse that can track on any surface. Might help.
