The “End task” button is a fast way to force a program to shut down when it is frozen, stuck, or otherwise unresponsive. Here is a simple tutorial for adding the “End task” option to your right-click menu on the taskbar.
Here’s how to add End Task to your right-click menu
Step 1: Open the Settings Menu (Windows key + I ).
Step 2: Click on System in the column on the left side. Scroll all down and click on “Advanced”.

Step 3: Turn on “End Task”. Click the toggle switch next to it to turn it on. That’s it! You can now close the Settings window.
How to Use the New Button

Now, when a program is frozen, click on the program’s icon on your Taskbar. Right-click on the icon. You will now see an option that says End task. Click End task. The program will shut down immediately, allowing you to restart it without having to open the Task Manager.
