How many calories in an apple?

By | June 1, 2013

EB and TC are getting up in the years now, and we’re becoming more health conscious as we’d like to live to see issue #1000 of InfoAve Premium. Well we know it’s iffy, but not because of the fat blubbering out from our bellies, but it’s the uncertainty of the business situation, for which there is no diet. What the heck are we talking about? We’re talking about nutrition, that’s what!

Did you know that beginning this week, Google will be adding nutrition facts for over 1000 fruits, vegetables, meats, and more, and you will be able to ask Google (you can even say it if you have voice search enabled) and get an answer in less than a second (depending on your Internet connection, of course).

For example.

How many calories are there in an apple? 50 to 60

How much protein is there in an egg yolk? 3 grams

How much fat is there in an avocado? 22 grams

How many calories are there in a slice of bacon? 42 calories

How much does EB weigh? 310 pounds. NO! NO! NO! Just kidding, and even Google doesn’t know. She keeps it SECRET.

So if you’re on a special diet, or you’re watching your weight, or you’re just curious about the foods you eat, soon you’ll be able to get straight answers straight from Google.

Google started rolling out this feature today — May 31, 2013, so give it some time to kick in 🙂
