Open a Gmail compose window immediately without any distractions

If you use Gmail you can open a compose window without seen your inbox or anything else. Just compose and send – no other distractions at all.

Normally, with Gmail accounts, you log-in to your account and click the Compose button to write a new email. Most of the time, this is fine because we’re reading or replying to email that came to our Gmail account. But sometimes you might want to compose an email without the distraction of having to open your account, see all the clutter… like, for instance, when you’re in a hurry. It’s for these times you’ll find Open Compose a really terrific add-on to have if you’re using Chrome.

Open Compose puts a little Gmail icon in the Chrome Toolbar. When you click it, your Gmail account’s compose window opens full screen. All you have to do is compose your email and send it – no inbox and no distractions. This extension is available only for Chrome, but if you’re using another browser, keep reading, we have a trick for you.

If you’re not using Chrome but use Gmail you can go straight to the Compose window, you can click or bookmark this URL to go right to the Gmail compose window, too.
