How many of you knew that you have a list of Windows 7 shortcuts available to you with just a couple of clicks? Nope. They’re not on a Web site. Nope. We’re not talking about something you download. These are right there on your Windows 7 computer and they’ve been there all the time.
Want to know how to find them?
- Open the Start menu
- Click “Help and Support”
- In the Help search bar, type shortcuts
- A list of shortcuts will be displayed by category
- Click any category to get a list of shortcuts
Here’s a screen shot for you:
Hi…thanks for this tip….however, it didn’t work for me! After I typed in “shortcuts” this is what I got:
“0 results for shortcuts
Suggestions
Check your spelling
Try a different phrase
Other options to try
Search the Windows website
Go online to get answers from other Windows users
Search IT Pro content on the Microsoft TechNet website”
But for others that have this same thing happen…..please note TC’s screenshot in the very bottom right hand corner. It shows “Online Help”. My didn’t show that until I clicked the small arrow next to it…..now I’m showing the same as TC’s screenshot!
I just love it when something is so easily resolved! Even better when I resolve it myself….LOL
Thanks for this great tip…..pb
Great Tip.
Worked for me OK.
Worked for me OK.
I tried it several times and each time it worked perfectly. So many thanks, I’ll remember to use this again. My friends also say thank you from little New Zealand.
Great Tip. I actually got 30 shortcuts instead of just the 11 shown in the screenshot!
Hi,
Worked satisfactorily, thanks for this great tip.

Much better than searching for that page that I created sometime ago that is in a pile some where.
Thanks for so many good tips over the years.
