I was doing Cloudeight Direct Computer Care sessions today and dazzling people ?\u00a0with my large repertoire of Emoji. \u00a0You&#8217;re probably dazzled ?\u00a0too.<\/p>\n<p>Back in the day, we called these things &#8220;Emoticons&#8221; or &#8220;Smileys&#8221; and that was that. Then ?\u00a0Japan got on the internet and now we&#8217;re all cosmopolitan ?\u00a0and stuff. And the rest, as they say, is ?\u00a0history.<\/p>\n<p>The best teacher is trying new things. You&#8217;ll either learn it or give up on it, either way you learned something. I learned I didn&#8217;t like calculus &#8211; I learned that a long time ago. I barely got past algebra. \u00a0But let&#8217;s move on and and say you want to send a friend an email and you say:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Hi Molly,<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s\u00a0\u26c5\u00a0partly cloudy today; I think it&#8217;s going to snow \u2744\u00a0soon, oh boy! I try to look at the bright side &#8211; it&#8217;s certainly better than a ?\u00a0volcano. I mean, ?seriously! Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny ?\u00a0with a chance of a shower \u2614\u00a0later in the day, so I&#8217;ll have to take Snowball ?\u00a0for a walk in the morning or he&#8217;ll get wet &#8211; and nothing smells worse than a wet dog, except for, maybe, a wet ?camel. We are so lucky that deserts are normally sunny ?\u00a0and dry. I can tell you for sure that ?Boston is not a desert, and ?\u00a0wet dogs are a problem. No ?kidding!<\/p>\n<p>I am so tired, so I think I&#8217;m going to take a ?\u00a0nap. \u00a0Snowball will just have to ?\u00a0wait.
