But if  \t\tyou want to add a folder to the start menu, you have to drag it there.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re going to show you how to add the right-click &#8220;Pin to Start Menu&#8221;  \t\twork for folders too.<\/p>\n<p>1. Press the Windows Key + R (this opens the Run command)<br \/>\n2. Enter Regedit.exe and press Enter, or click OK.<br \/>\n3. Browse to the following location:  \t\tHKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\\Folder\\shellex\\ContextMenuHandlers\\<br \/>\n4. Create a new key called {a2a9545d-a0c2-42b4-9708-a0b2badd77c8} with  \t\tno value.<br \/>\n5. Close the Registry Editor<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;\"><span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;\"><span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"> <span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2010\/pin-folder2.png\" border=\"0\" alt=\"InfoAve by Cloudeight\" width=\"325\" height=\"388\" \/><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;\"><span>That&#8217;s it. You&#8217;re done. You will have to  \t\treboot your computer before you have the option to pin folders to the  \t\tstart menu.
