Warning! This site of the week pick will have \t\tmost men groaning. Most females will be ecstatic. Here’s your chance to \t\tshow your husband (or significant other) what a cocktail of evil he really \t\tis. Of course, ladies, you are ultimately responsible for selecting him \t\tin the first place.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I’ve often wondered why EB gives me so much \t\tgrief; after all, I’m a nice guy with a lot of wonderful, endearing qualities. \t\tIf any of you have ever been on the receiving end of one of my more “energetic” \t\temails, you should know this. Unfortunately, EB fails to see any of these \t\tendearing qualities and thinks of me as reviling slug. Who me? I’m not a \t\tslug. I’m laconic. I’m pedantic. I’m even going to admit I’m a bit indolent \t\twhen these summer days beckon and EB has me on house arrest, tethered to \t\tmy computer, wearing an electronic ankle bracelet. Oh please, set me free!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I stumbled upon a personality test to see \t\tif I was as friendly and vivacious as I think I am. After I took it, I can \t\tsee why no one likes me: I’m an introverted know-it-all but compassionate \t\tand empathetic. I’m a walking paradox – a fine, upstanding neurotic. I’m \t\tgoing to get a glass of wine. I’m not even waiting until 3:00PM today. Happy \t\tHour is whenever I say it is – EB is miles away. I’m sure her electronic \t\tmonitoring equipment won’t know the difference if I’m sauntering off to \t\tuse the bathroom or heading down to my secret wine stash. I feel so free.<\/p>\n

I know by this point in the newsletter, most \t\tof you are thinking: “Does this guy ever shut up?” The answer my friend \t\tis blowing in the wind. No, the answer is no. I don’t. Luckily for you, \t\tthere is a limit to my endurance and if you think you are tired of reading \t\tthis newsletter by now, you should be the one typing it all. That’s all \t\tI’m going to say about it, you know?<\/p>\n

Again, fortunately, I can fallback on someone \t\telse to pad this article and to ease the suffering I feel while sitting \t\there in the A\/C while the heat index outside stands at 103. Lucky me. Still \t\tthe birds are singing and the sun is shining and there’s a book I’m reading \t\tcalled “The Road” by Cormac McCarthy that I’d like to finish soon. (Good \t\tbook, by the way. If you think I’m bad wait until you see all the sentence \t\tfragments, missing commas and missing apostrophes in that book. It won a \t\tPulitzer Prize. So the next time you English majors criticize my grammar \t\tor mistakes, please take note – I’m trying to win a Pulitzer. \ud83d\ude42 )’<\/p>\n

Anyway, segueing away from that and back to \t\tour site of the week: \t\t our site of the week is a personality test<\/a>. There are 70 questions and \t\tit takes about 15 minutes or so to take the test. At the end of the test \t\tyou can view you personality type based on the way you answered the questions. \t\tThese are standardized personality types. Once you have your type you can \t\tgoogle it and read more about yourself. If you’re like me, it will make \t\tyou sick :-).<\/p>\n

The developers of this site are being called \t\tupon now to pad this article and add a little fiber to this otherwise mushy, \t\tprosaic piece. So without further mush or gibberish, I present to you the \t\tdevelopers of the Jung Typology Test – apologies, of course, to Carl Jung, \t\twhose life and death made this site possible.<\/p>\n

“…Good and stable relationships between \t\tpartners are conducive to happy marriage. We often don’t know what is the \t\treason of our conflicts. Identification of relationships between mates is \t\tone of the main problems in matchmaking. Marriage test challenges these \t\tproblems.
\nAccording to the Jung – Myers-Briggs typology all people can be classified \t\tusing four criteria:<\/p>\n

* Extraversion – Introversion
\n* Sensing – Intuition
\n* Thinking – Feeling
\n* Judging – Perceiving<\/p>\n

A type formula of the person is denoted by the combination of criteria. \t\tFor example: ENFP – Extravert INtuitive Feeling Perceiving. There may be \t\tsixteen types. Once you know the type formula and strength of the preferences \t\tfor each mate in a matching couple, it is possible to calculate the index \t\tof compatibility (MatchIndex) between the partners. MatchIndex is of a such \t\tgreat importance that, practically, its role is a decisive one in the partners’ \t\trelationships.<\/p>\n

A high MatchIndex ensures good and stable long-term relations. If the partners’ \t\tMatchIndex is low, then in the vast majority of cases the relationships \t\tare subject to conflict. You will discover matching indices for your particular \t\tcouple and proposals on the optimal behavior as a result of the test….”<\/p>\n
