We did this tutorial using Chrome, but if you\u2019re using Windows 10 you can do it with any browser as we\u2019ll explain at the end of this post. If you\u2019re using Chrome you can do this on Windows 7, Windows 8x and Windows 10.<\/p>\n<p>We chose <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thundercloud.net\/infoave\/new\/a-lot-of-good-free-software\/\" target=\"_blank\">one of our articles<\/a><\/span> for this tip. You know what they say \u2014 if you don\u2019t toot your own horn nobody\u2019s going to toot it for you.<\/p>\n<p>On the page we want to save as PDF, we right-click and choose \u201cPrint\u201d (see below):<\/p>\n<p class=\"auto-style760\"><span class=\"auto-style787\"><span class=\"auto-style9\"><span class=\"auto-style786\"><span class=\"auto-style7\"><span class=\"auto-style809\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"auto-style823\" src=\"http:\/\/thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2016\/pdf.png\" alt=\"Cloudeight infoAve\" width=\"600\" height=\"268\" \/><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Under Destination, click \u201cChange\u201d:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"auto-style823\" src=\"http:\/\/thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2016\/pdf1a.png\" alt=\"Cloudeight infoAve\" width=\"453\" height=\"457\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Under \u201cSelect a destination\u201d choose \u201cSave as PDF\u201d (don\u2019t forget to switch this back to your printer next time you want to print something or else you\u2019ll end up with another PDF).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"auto-style823\" src=\"http:\/\/thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2016\/pdf2a.png\" alt=\"Cloudeight infoAve\" width=\"600\" height=\"591\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Now that you have \u201cSave as PDF\u201d selected as the destination, click the \u201cSave\u201d button. File Explorer (Windows Explorer) will open and you can browse to wherever you want to save the PDF file.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"auto-style823\" src=\"http:\/\/thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2016\/pdf3a.png\" alt=\"Cloudeight infoAve\" width=\"426\" height=\"408\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We chose the root of Drive G \u00a0and saved it as is, with the title of the article as its title. But you can save Web pages with any name you want and save them to any folder or drive you want.<\/p>\n<p>.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"auto-style823\" src=\"http:\/\/thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2016\/pdf4a.png\" alt=\"Cloudeight infoAve\" width=\"600\" height=\"260\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When we open the PDF file we just saved, we find it to be just like the Web page.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"auto-style823\" src=\"http:\/\/thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2016\/pdf5a.png\" alt=\"Cloudeight InfoAve\" width=\"600\" height=\"739\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Including the images:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"auto-style823\" src=\"http:\/\/thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2016\/pdf6a.png\" alt=\"CLOUDEIGHT INTERNET\" width=\"600\" height=\"506\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And that\u2019s all there is to it. You can save any Web page as a PDF file.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re not using Chrome but you are using Windows 10:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Using any browser you want, go to the page you want to save as a PDF file.<\/li>\n<li>Press Ctrl+P<\/li>\n<li>You should see a drop-down menu with at least your printer and Microsoft Print to PDF.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"auto-style823\" src=\"http:\/\/thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2016\/pdf7b.png\" alt=\"CLOUDEIGHT INTERNET\" width=\"600\" height=\"225\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Choose Microsoft Print to PDF from the list<\/li>\n<li>Save your PDF file wherever you want<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>If you don\u2019t have Windows 10, and you\u2019re not using Chrome, and you do have a PDF program like \u201cFoxit Reader\u201d (free version is fine), you\u2019ll have the option to save the file as PDF using it (providing your 3rd-party PDF tool supports it).<\/p>\n<p>Why would you want to do this? If you like saving recipes, household tips, computer tips and tricks, how-to articles, etc. , PDF files are great because they preserve the page contents. (Note: If the page has a background image, the image won\u2019t be preserved in thr\u00a0PDF file.
