Have you ever wondered what inflation has done to our dollar?<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s a site where you can see how much $100 in today&#8217;s money would be worth, let&#8217;s say, in 1960&#8217;s money. If you&#8217;re curious, $100 in 2016 money would have purchase about $12.50 worth of goods \/ services in 1960. I think gasoline was 24 cents a gallon back then. But I&#8217;m not sure, because I was not old enough to drive in 1960 &#8211; believe it or not.<\/p>\n<p>A home that cost $40,000 in 1970 would cost $250,000 in 2016.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s really not called Inflation-O-Meter, but that&#8217;s what we call it. You can call it whatever you want. But I bet you will call it fun.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll find it interesting, if not useful.
