Explore your world with this Cloudeight site pick"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span>While searching for this week&#8217;s site of the week (we really do spend  \t\t\ttime looking for something interesting for this column) we stumbled  \t\t\tupon Exploratorium. With over 18,000 pages, online experiments,  \t\t\tphotos, interesting science articles for folks of all ages &#8211; let&#8217;s  \t\t\tjust say we stayed on the site longer than we wanted. We spent hours here and learned a lot. Unfortunately for you &#8211; good writing wasn&#8217;t one of the things we learned. Maybe next time<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>This site is a wealth of  \t\t\tinteresting information, images and &#8220;hands-on&#8221; experiments. If you  \t\t\thave any curiosity at all about the world around you &#8211; or about  \t\t\tscience and why things are like they are &#8211;then you should bookmark this site because you will return to it again and again. Or do it all at once and plan on  \t\t\tspending the next 142 days exploring it. We figure that&#8217;s how long  \t\t\tit will take you to explore &#8220;Exploratorium&#8221; at 128 pages each day.  \t\t\tThat gives you a goal of about 15 pages per hour, 8 hours a day. At  \t\t\tthat rate, you&#8217;ll have the entire site explored in a little over  \t\t\tfour months. By the time you&#8217;re done, it will be Halloween and you&#8217;ll  \t\t\thave time to pass out candy and do some Christmas shopping.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, we&#8217;re tittering again, aren&#8217;t we. Doggone it, there we go  \t\t\tagain, Eightball! It&#8217;s time to bring in the folks who created  \t\t\tExploratorium and let them tell you, in their own succinct way, what  \t\t\tExploratorium is all about. Did we end that sentence in a  \t\t\tpreposition? Too bad! Call Eightball&#8217;s English teacher and complain!  \t\t\tShoot! We&#8217;re rambling again.
