Creating Folders on Desktop
\n<\/span><\/span>
\nOur last iPad tip taught you how \t\t\t\t\tto create a website bookmark shortcut on your desktop.\u00a0 Over \t\t\t\t\ttime, you may have several website shortcuts on your \t\t\t\t\tdesktop, so its time to create a folder to hold them all and \t\t\t\t\thave less clutter.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

  • Create two or more desktop \t\t\t\t\twebsite bookmarks. In our example below, we created one for \t\t\t\t\tCloudeight and one for Facebook.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Drag one of the shortcuts \t\t\t\t\tonto the top of the other and you will see a folder created \t\t\t\t\tcalled “Bookmarks”<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Give your folder a\u00a0 new \t\t\t\t\tname, or leave it with the default name “Bookmarks”. We will \t\t\t\t\tcall ours Web Sites<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Tap the home key. Now you \t\t\t\t\twill see your folder on your desktop!\u00a0 You can create \t\t\t\t\tseveral folders if you have several bookmarks if you want to \t\t\t\t\tcategorize them.<\/span><\/li>\n

    You can create folders from \t\t\t\t\tanything, including apps,\u00a0you have on your desktop\/homescreens \t\t\t\t\tby dragging two icons on top of each other. I have another \t\t\t\t\tcalled “News” and it holds all of my news apps. Also, don’t \t\t\t\t\tforget.. you have 7 home screens you can create so stay \t\t\t\t\torganized!
