Subsequently, we received several comments and quite a few emails from people asking us how they could find out what version of Windows they&#8217;re using.<\/p>\n<p>There are many ways to find your Windows version. The quickest way &#8211; I think &#8211; is this:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Press the Windows Key + R<\/li>\n<li>Type WINVER in the Run box.<\/li>\n<li>Click OK or press Enter<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone \" src=\"http:\/\/thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2017\/runwinver.png\" alt=\"Cloudeight InfoAve Computer Tips and Tricks\" width=\"392\" height=\"232\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll see the following dialog appear. Your version number will be right on the 2nd line under &#8220;Microsoft Windows&#8221;. See?<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2017\/runwinver1a.png\" width=\"540\" height=\"467\" \/><\/p>\n<p>See? It&#8217;s easy. \u00a0Now you know what version of \u00a0Windows you&#8217;re using.<\/p>\n<p>What? You want another way? OK&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re running Windows 10 and you want your Windows version and more info about your PC like how much RAM you have installed and the type of processor you PC has ( or you&#8217;ve got Run-box phobia), here&#8217;s a different way of finding your Windows version and even more info about your PC:<\/p>\n<p>Type &#8220;About&#8221; (no quotes) in your Taskbar search and click on &#8220;This PC&#8221; when it appears at the top.
