We uploaded a zip file containing a batch file and a script written to reset Windows 10 File History.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">First, \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2017\/reset-filehistory.zip\">download this Cloudeight zip file<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Next, unzip the file. There are two files inside. One is a batch file and one is Visual Basic script. You should only need to run the batch file (double-click it to run) to reset File History:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">Follow these step-by-step instructions:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">1. Unplug the external drive that you want to use to back up your files with File History.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">2. Unzip the file above and double-click on the batch file.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">3. Restart your PC<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">4. Plug in the external drive you want to use to backup<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">5.
