But do you know how to access this list? It&#8217;s easy. Very easy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"auto-style803\">Open a Run dialog by holding down the Windows Key and tapping the &#8220;R&#8221; key. Type <span class=\"auto-style833\">RECENT<\/span> in the Run dialog and press Enter or click &#8220;OK&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"auto-style803\"><span class=\"auto-style790\"> <span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"> <span class=\"auto-style67\"> <span class=\"normaltext\"><span class=\"auto-style1\"> <span class=\"auto-style747\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2017\/recent1.png\" alt=\"Cloudeight InfoAve Windows Tips &amp; Tricks\" width=\"488\" height=\"291\" \/><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>And you&#8217;ll see a long list of files you&#8217;ve accessed recently. Mine go all the way back to 3 weeks ago, which was the time I cleaned my computer using the CLEANMGR command which you an also run from a Run dialog. [ Windows Key + R. Type CLEANMGR and press Enter. ]<\/p>\n<p class=\"auto-style803\"><span class=\"auto-style790\"> <span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"> <span class=\"auto-style67\"> <span class=\"normaltext\"><span class=\"auto-style1\"> <span class=\"auto-style747\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2017\/recent2a.png\" alt=\"Cloudeight InfoAve Windows Tips &amp; Tricks\" width=\"546\" height=\"466\" \/><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"auto-style803\">Windows 10 users will also see a list of recently accessed files and folders appears in File Explorer \u00a0&#8211;&gt; &#8220;Quick Access&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"auto-style803\">If you want to clear the list of recently access files and folders, do this:<\/p>\n<p class=\"auto-style803\">Windows Key + R to open the Run dialog.<\/p>\n<p class=\"auto-style803\">Type <span class=\"auto-style833\">Control Folders<\/span>\u00a0 in the run box to open Folder Options and click OK or press Enter. (Note: You can also use Control Panel \/ Folder Options or File Explorer \/ Options.)\u00a0 Under the General tab, under &#8220;Privacy&#8221;, next to &#8220;Clear File Explorer history&#8221; click &#8220;Clear&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"auto-style803\"><span class=\"auto-style790\"> <span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"> <span class=\"auto-style67\"> <span class=\"normaltext\"><span class=\"auto-style1\"> <span class=\"auto-style747\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2017\/clear-recent.png\" alt=\"Cloudeight InfoAve Windows Tips &amp; Tricks\" width=\"540\" height=\"684\" \/><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"auto-style803\">So, there you go. Now you know how to see what files and folders have been recently accessed on your computer. And how to clear them. I always love to do this with EB&#8217;s computer.
