More CTRL for you!<\/strong><\/h1>\n

This tip is for Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

We know you all want more CTRL over your PC, right? Well, here\u00a0 are some CTRL key shortcuts that can save you time and trouble.<\/p>\n

Ctrl+F<\/strong> = Find something on a page \u2013 in a browser, text editor, PDF editor, ebook, etc. To remember this easily, think F = FIND.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ctrl+P<\/strong> = Print the document you have open. Whether it\u2019s a web page, a Word doc, PDF file, text file, etc. Think P = PRINT.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ctrl+N<\/strong> = Opens\u00a0 new window in the program that\u2019s running. Think N = NEW.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ctrl+S<\/strong> = Saves the document you\u2019re working on. Think S = SAVE<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Ctrl+H<\/strong> = Shows your browser\u2019s history. Think H = History<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ctrl+J<\/strong> = Shows a list of downloads in your browser. Think J= ?<\/strong> I give up! J=Downloads! Junk? Is your downloads folder full of junk?<\/p>\n

And let us not fail to mention:<\/p>\n

Ctrl+A <\/strong>= Select All<\/p>\n

Ctrl+C <\/strong>= Copy<\/p>\n

Ctrl+V <\/strong>= Paste<\/p>\n

And all these work on any version of Windows.
