Chrome\u2019s \u201cClear browsing data\u201d dialog will open.<\/span><br class=\"auto-style4\" \/><br class=\"auto-style4\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"auto-style4\" src=\"http:\/\/thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2017\/clear-chrome.png\" alt=\"Cloudeight InfoAve\" width=\"563\" height=\"484\" \/><br class=\"auto-style4\" \/><br class=\"auto-style4\" \/><span class=\"auto-style4\">Using the down arrow, you can select how far back you want to go when deleting your browsing history &amp; data from Chrome &#8211; even back to the beginning of time&#8230; not really. I don&#8217;t think they had internet in 3000 BC.\u00a0 In Chrome the beginning of time means all the way back to the first time you used Chrome. You can also select or de-select what you want or don&#8217;t want to clear under \u201cClear the following items\u2026\u201d<\/span><br class=\"auto-style4\" \/><br class=\"auto-style4\" \/><span class=\"auto-style4\">Remember, clearing cookies will log you out of all the sites that you\u2019re logged in to. The next time you visit those sites, you\u2019ll have to enter your user names and passwords again &#8211; unless your spiffy and smart and use a password manager.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>You hate keyboard shortcuts you say? Well&#8230; this tip&#8217;s for you.\u00a0<span class=\"auto-style4\">If you like bookmarks and hate keyboard shortcuts, copy and paste (or type) the following into Chrome\u2019s address bar.<\/span><br class=\"auto-style4\" \/><br class=\"auto-style4\" \/><span class=\"auto-style4\">chrome:\/\/settings\/clearBrowserData<\/span><br class=\"auto-style4\" \/><br class=\"auto-style4\" \/><span class=\"auto-style4\">Next press &#8220;Enter &#8220;. However, if you&#8217;re spiffy and smart, you&#8217;ll paste it using &#8220;Paste &amp; go&#8221; which eliminates having to press &#8220;Enter&#8221;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"auto-style4\">After you do that, click on the start in at the right edge of Chrome\u2019s address bar;<\/span><br class=\"auto-style4\" \/><br class=\"auto-style4\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"auto-style4\" src=\"http:\/\/thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2017\/clear-chrome1a.png\" alt=\"Cloudeight InfoAve\" width=\"466\" height=\"284\" \/><br class=\"auto-style4\" \/><br class=\"auto-style4\" \/><span class=\"auto-style4\">Give it a name&#8230; we suggest using name you\u2019ll recognize &#8211; something like \u201cClear Browsing History\u201d . Keep it in your Bookmarks bar.
