When you first install Windows 7, it asks for your language, \t\t\t\ttime and currency. If you choose United States, for example, the \t\t\t\tavailable desktop backgrounds and themes will include a United \t\t\t\tStates section with scenery from U.S. locations.<\/p>\n
Did you know there are many hidden background and themes from \t\t\t\t other English-speaking countries, like Australia, Great Britain, \t\t\t\t New Zealand, South Africa and Canada? There are, and you can \t\t\t\taccess them easily by following this tip.<\/p>\n
1. Press the Windows key plus the R key and \u00a0type C:\\Windows\\Globalization\\MCT\u00a0and press Enter.<\/p>\n
2. Windows Explorer will open and display a list of subfolders \t\t\t\t under C:WindowsGlobalizationMCT: MCT-AU, MCT-CA, MCT-GB, \t\t\t\tMCT-US, and MCT-ZA. Each subfolder has wallpapers for a specific \t\t\t\tcountry: AU for Australia, CA for Canada, GB for Great Britain, \t\t\t\tUS for the United States, and ZA for South Africa.<\/p>\n
For any of the countries whose wallpaper and themes you want to \t\t\t\t use, go into its Theme folder, for example, \t\t\t\t C:WindowsGlobalizationMCTMCT-CATheme. Double-click the \t\t\t\ttheme you see there (for example CA).<\/p>\n

3. A shortcut will be installed to theme and wallpapers in the \t\t\t\tPersonalization section of Control Panel.<\/p>\n
Now you can use any of the countries themes you added. You\u2019ll be \t\t\t \table to use all the additional themes and wallpapers just by \t\t\t\t right-clicking the desktop, choosing Personalize, and choosing a \t\t\t\t background or theme.
