The Safe Way to Get Help From Microsoft<\/span><\/h1>\n

This applies to Windows 10, all versions.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

We covered this before, but to remind you, Microsoft is not going to show you a popup online and tell you that your computer is infected; they’re never going to call you out of the blue and tell you that your computer has been compromised. Microsoft is not going to contact you and tell you that your computer is full of viruses and is spreading vermin all over the world. It’s not going to happen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Here’s a safe way to get help from Microsoft. And it’s so easy, it’s unfathomable why more people don’t take advantage of it.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you’ve been with us for any length of time, you are most likely aware of all the Microsoft support scams going on all over the world – both on the Web and via phone calls. There are internet support scams and telephone support scams. These scams have bilked unsuspecting users out of millions of dollars.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you\u2019re using Windows 10, you may be surprised that can get help from Microsoft without picking up the phone, going to a web site, or even sending an email.\u00a0 So, if you\u2019re having a problem with Windows 10, here\u2019s one very safe way to get help<\/span><\/p>\n

Type Get Help in the taskbar search and press Enter when you see Get Help appear at the top.<\/span><\/p>\n

In a few seconds, the \u201cGet Help\u201d app will open.<\/span><\/p>\n

In a minute or so you\u2019ll see \u201cGet Help\u201d \u201cVirtual agent\u201d. Do not be dismayed. Real people await you. Promise.<\/span><\/p>\n

When you see the Virtual agent appear, explain your problem as simply as you can by typing it in at the bottom (see below):<\/span><\/p>\n

If the Virtual agent has any kind of answer which seems related to your problem, you can try the solution offered.<\/span><\/p>\n

You can try another question or talk to a person.\u201d Talk to a person is a link. So click on \u201ctalk to a person\u201d (see below):<\/span><\/p>\n
