You don\u2019t see your hard drive displayed in Quick Access, Some of us, like me for instance, prefer to see a more traditional view that shows my hard drives and other drives in addition to the Documents, Downloads, Pictures, Music, etc. folders.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">We\u2019re going to show you how to change File Explorer so it opens up with This PC (formerly known as Computer and My Computer). And it\u2019s very simple. It\u2019s so simple in fact, you\u2019ll be able to do it faster than it took you to read this tip.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Ready?<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"auto-style745\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><strong><span class=\"auto-style747\"><span class=\"auto-style736\"><span class=\"auto-style9\">Step #1:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Open File Explorer. You can do this a bunch of ways \u2013 here are three:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Click start &amp; click \u201cThis PC\u201d<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Click the folder icon on your taskbar<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Press the Windows Key + E<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Note that will open to \u201cQuick access\u201d (highlighted in yellow below).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"auto-style745\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2019\/file-explorer-options9.png\" alt=\"Cloudeight InfoAve\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><strong>Step #2:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Let\u2019s change this so it opens up to This PC (My Computer\/Computer).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Click View (at the top \u2013 see red box)<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Click Options (see red arrow)<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Select Change folder and search options \u2013 highlighted in yellow below:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2019\/file-explorer-options1.png\" alt=\"Cloudeight Windows 10 tips\" \/><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><strong>Step #3:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">In Folder Options, next to \u201cOpen File Explorer to: \u201d use the down arrow to select This PC.
