We&#8217;re going to show you the easy way, not the geek&#8217;s way. But just so you know, typing About:Flags is the same as typing chrome:\/\/flags . No need for all that typing. Chrome has a lot of useful About Stuff. You can get to it by typing either About: with a simple command after it. And guess what else? None of these commands are case-sensitive. So AbOUt:fLAGs is the same as ABOUT:FLAGS or about:flags.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">About:\/\/flags is the same as Chrome:\/\/flags\u2026got it? But you don\u2019t need no stinkin&#8217; slashes,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Here is a list of just a few of the many Chrome <strong><em>About<\/em><\/strong> commands. Type the command in Chrome&#8217;s Omnibox (address bar) and press Enter&#8230; and you&#8217;re on your way!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><strong>about:flags<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0<span class=\"auto-style774\"><span class=\"auto-style787\"><span class=\"auto-style9\"><span class=\"auto-style786\"><span class=\"auto-style7\"><span class=\"auto-style809\">View and enable some of the experimental features hidden in Chrome. CAUTION! CAUTION! As noted on this page, these are experimental features and might break chrome leaving it broken or useless. You, therefore, enable these features at your own risk.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><strong>about:extensions\u00a0<\/strong> Shows you a list of all extensions installed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><strong>about:downloads\u00a0 <\/strong>Displays recently downloaded files \u2013 you can do the same thing with the keyboard shortcut CTR+J<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><strong>about:bookmarks<\/strong> Display all of your Chrome bookmarks \u2013 you can do the same thing with the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+O<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><strong>about:user-actions\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Shows a list of all your actions. You&#8217;ll need to open another browser or program to see any action here.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><strong>about:settings<\/strong>\u00a0 Takes you to the Chrome settings \u2013 as if you clicked the 3-vertical-dot icon shown at the upper right corner of Chrome and then clicked &#8220;Settings<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><strong>about:credits<\/strong> (The people and foundations and resources credited by Google for things that went into creating the Chrome browser. You might be surprised how much stuff is here.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><strong>about:chrome\u00a0 <\/strong>Tells you the version number of Chrome you&#8217;re using and lets you know if you\u2019re using the current version. You can also update Chrome from here.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"auto-style774\" style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><span class=\"auto-style787\"><span class=\"auto-style9\"><span class=\"auto-style786\"><span class=\"auto-style7\"><span class=\"auto-style809\"><strong>about:memory-exhaust\u00a0<\/strong> This rather useless command,\u00a0 shows the infamous Chrome &#8220;Aw, Snap!&#8221; page.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"auto-style774\" style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><span class=\"auto-style787\"><span class=\"auto-style9\"><span class=\"auto-style786\"><span class=\"auto-style7\"><span class=\"auto-style809\"><strong>about:version\u00a0<\/strong> This command shows you tons of dweeby stuff that only a deeply serious person would enjoy.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"auto-style774\" style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><span class=\"auto-style787\"><span class=\"auto-style9\"><span class=\"auto-style786\"><span class=\"auto-style7\"><span class=\"auto-style809\"><strong>about:quit<\/strong>\u00a0 This command does exactly what you think it does &#8211; it closes Chrome<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"auto-style774\" style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><span class=\"auto-style787\"><span class=\"auto-style9\"><span class=\"auto-style786\"><span class=\"auto-style7\"><span class=\"auto-style809\"><strong>about:restart<\/strong> This command does precisely what you&#8217;re thinking it does, it restarts Chrome.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><strong>about:omnibox\u00a0<\/strong> Tells you more about the Chrome Omnibox than you&#8217;ll probably ever want to know. There are dozens and dozens of them. And remember!
