Many times this will resolve problems, but if it does not, you can use the following method to roll back the update and return to the previous version of Windows 10. And the good news is if you do roll back this way you will not lose any programs or data as long as go back to the previous version of\u00a0 Windows 10 within 10 days of installing the version update. After 10 days, this option will no longer be available unless you <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thundercloud.net\/infoave\/new\/how-to-increase-the-number-of-days-to-go-back-to-the-previous-version-of-windows\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">make some changes<\/a><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Here&#8217;s the right way to go back to the previous version of Windows if a version update such as the May 2019 Update &#8211; version 1903 causes you major problems.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">1. Right-click the Start button and click Settings (Or press the Windows Key + i )<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">2. Click on \u201cUpdate &amp; Security&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">3. In \u201cUpdate &amp; Security\u201d click on \u201cRecovery\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">4. In Recovery, you will have 3 options \u201cReset this PC\u201d, \u201cGo Back to the previous version of Windows 10\u201d and \u201cAdvanced startup\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2019\/goback1903.png\" alt=\"Cloudeight InfoAve\" width=\"590\" height=\"396\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Once you click &#8220;Get started&#8221; it will take from 45 to 60 minutes to complete the rollback.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">If you don\u2019t see \u201cGo Back to the previous version of Windows 10\u201d as one of your choices then:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">a.) The update was not a version update.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">b.)
