You\u2019re probably not going to want to use this version of File Explorer; it\u2019s certainly not going to replace the File Explorer you\u2019re using now in Windows 10, that\u2019s for sure. But it is interesting and it\u2019s easy to do. And here\u2019s how you do it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">If you want to see the hidden File Explorer, just right-click on the Start button and click on &#8220;Run&#8221;. In the &#8220;Run&#8221; box copy and paste the following and click &#8220;OK&#8221; or press Enter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><code><span class=\"auto-style4\">explorer shell:AppsFolder\\c5e2524a-ea46-4f67-841f-6a9465d9d515_cw5n1h2txyewy!App<\/span><\/code><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">If you did everything correctly you&#8217;ll see something like this&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2019\/hidden-file-explorer.png\" alt=\"Hidden File Explorer Windows 10 - Windows 10 Tips by Cloudeight\" width=\"589\" height=\"509\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">It&#8217;s a rather minimalistic File Explorer. It&#8217;s uncluttered and basic &#8211; but some people love basic. If you like it and want to use it, you\u2019ll need to create a desktop shortcut for it.\u00a0 If you want to do that, right-click on an empty area of your desktop and choose \u201cNew\u201d &#8211;&gt; \u201cShortcut\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"auto-style4\" src=\"http:\/\/thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2019\/new-shortcut.png\" alt=\"Cloudeight Windows Tips &amp; Tricks\" width=\"360\" height=\"279\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"auto-style4\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">In the \u201cWhat item would you like to create a shortcut for?\u201d dialog, copy and paste the following:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><code><span class=\"auto-style4\">explorer shell:AppsFolder\\c5e2524a-ea46-4f67-841f-6a9465d9d515_cw5n1h2txyewy!App<\/span><\/code><\/p>\n<p class=\"auto-style4\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">under \u201cType the location of the item\u201d. Then click \u201cNext\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"auto-style4\" src=\"http:\/\/thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2019\/new-shortcut1.png\" alt=\"Cloudeight Windows tips and tricks\" width=\"458\" height=\"388\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"auto-style4\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Now, you&#8217;ll need to give your shortcut a name. I\u2019m not fancy, so I called it \u201cHidden File Explorer\u201d.
