<\/span>Here are two quick and easy ways to open an elevated command prompt \t\t\t\t\t\tin Windows Vista or Windows 7:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Method \t\t\t\t\t\t#1 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

To open \t\t\t\t\t\tan elevated command prompt, <\/span><\/p>\n

1.Press \t\t\t\t\t\tthe Window key
\n2. Type cmd; press Ctrl+Shift+Enter; and then hit ALT+C \t\t\t\t\t\tto confirm the elevation prompt.<\/span><\/p>\n

Method #2<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In the search bar at the \t\t\t\t\t\tbottom of the start menu, type COMMAND and press Enter. \t\t\t\t\t\tCommand prompt will appear at the top of the menu. Right \t\t\t\t\t\tclick it an choose “Run as administrator”.<\/p>\n
