For example, last Christmas, EB did all her Christmas \t\t\t\tshopping on CyberMonday from the comfort of her own home. \t\t\t\tDressed in her granny nightgown and Sponge Bob slippers, she \t\t\t\topened her laptop at 12:00AM so she could grab up all the deals \t\t\t\tbefore the more needy could get them. In less than 45 minutes \t\t\t\tshe had her Christmas shopping done. She left not one super deal \t\t\t\tfor the less fortunate. This is how the rich people operate – I \t\t\t\tknow, because I’ve watched EB’s fortune grow while my savings \t\t\t\thave dwindled to a single piece of angel food cake (only angel \t\t\t\tfood for an angel!). She told me one time when I was begging her \t\t\t\tfor money to “eat the cake and quit being mendacious”. I had to \t\t\t\tfire up my laptop and look up mendacious. By that time she was \t\t\t\tgone. How dare she?<\/p>\n
Anyway, EB rarely pays shipping. She houses a large extended \t\t\t\tfamily consisting of two uncles, four godchildren, two refugees \t\t\t\tfrom Lower Slobovia, whom she rescued from Lake Michigan while \t\t\t\tsailing on her yacht (which is named “Thundercloud II”), six \t\t\t\tcats, one dog and a pet lemur named Walter. Plus EB has \t\t\t\trelatives in 22 countries and 17 states. Christmas shopping gets \t\t\t\texpensive when you have to ship things to Lower Slobovia, Upper \t\t\t\tSlobovia, Eastern Mostovia and places like that. Even though she \t\t\t\town two oil well and a silver mine she doesn’t like to waste \t\t\t\tmoney. Especially on me. And me, the ever-loyal employee and \t\t\t\tpart-time friend, is always looking for ways to help her save \t\t\t\ther fortune. I have an ulterior motive though – I keep hoping \t\t\t\tshe’ll take me off independent contractor status and up my wages \t\t\t\tto minimum wage. I get tired of working at McDonald’s and then \t\t\t\tcoming home and going right to work for EB. I get no sleep. So \t\t\t\tthat lady who wrote last week and told me that my grammar errors \t\t\t\tand loose ways with the English language detracted from her \t\t\t\tenjoyment of my witty dialog – please forgive me. I’m doing my \t\t\t\tbest – but my proofreader only has a sixth-grade education; \t\t\t\ttimes are rough all over.<\/p>\n
