Also (I\u2019m) pretty sure this site belongs to them as well <a href=\"https:\/\/antivirus-review.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/antivirus-review.com<\/a>\/.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Even more proof\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/malwaretips.com\/threads\/total-av-is-it-a-scam.80362\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/malwaretips.com\/threads\/total-av-is-it-a-scam.80362\/<\/a> \u2026\u201d<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">There\u2019s a pattern of people downloading the \u201cFree\u201d version and being charged, and some being overcharged, and not being able to cancel without jumping through hoops.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">In our experience working on computers, customers who have been tricked into downloading TotalAV have had trouble removing it. Even if the product worked well, the company behind it, and their questionable marketing methods, make it a must to avoid.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The only price that is shown on their site for \u201cup to 3 computers\u201d is $19 for one-year. But nowhere on that page does it say that is only for the first year \u2014 <strong>after the first year, it\u2019s $99 a year<\/strong> and it auto-renews and you get charged $99 automatically.\u00a0 This is from a hidden part of their page informing users they have to call\u00a0 TotalAV support to cancel the automatic charge\u2026 and you can almost imagine how that runaround will go.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><em>\u201c\u2026Our current standard price for an annual subscription is $99. Don\u2019t want to auto-renew?
