The next Windows 10 version update will bring major changes to copy-and-paste. Microsoft will include an all-new clipboard panel that will be included in Windows 10 version 2009 — and copy & paste will never be the same again.<\/span><\/p>\n The feature update to Windows 10 due out this autumn (Windows 10 version 2009) will bring a new panel that completely changes how copying and pasting works.<\/span><\/p>\n In one of the “Windows Insider” test versions (Windows 10 Build 20185), Microsoft has added a new copy & paste panel that allows users to insert GIFs, emojis, and other content from their clipboards. The new panel also makes it much easier for users to add content to their documents and emails.<\/span><\/p>\n In addition to easily using your most recently accessed emoji and GIFs — and searching for new ones — the panel also includes a feature called \u201cClipboard history\u201d that displays a list of items that have recently copied to the clipboard. Clipboard History is already included<\/a><\/span> in all supported versions of Windows 10.<\/span><\/p>\n The new copy & paste new panel will offer similar functionality to the many clipboard enhancements already available from 3rd-party developers.
