You will see a menu appear. Click on \u201cSort by\u201c, and you\u2019ll see another menu appear.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2021\/sorting0.png\" alt=\"Cloudeight InfoAve Windows tips\" width=\"570\" height=\"480\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">From that menu, you\u2019ll be able to sort all the items in that folder by Name, Date, Type, Size, and Tags. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">You\u2019ll also see that you can sort them in ascending or descending order. When sorting files by date, ascending order means the newest files are listed first and the oldest files are listed at the bottom. Descending order places the newest files at the bottom and the oldest files at the top.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">You can sort any folder this way by name, date, type, size, and tags and in ascending or descending order.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Let\u2019s do another example. Let&#8217;s sort a file alphabetically.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">We&#8217;re going to sort folder content by name. If we choose ascending order, files will be alphabetically sorted from A to Z. If we choose descending order, files will be alphabetically sorted from Z to A.
