Three Quick Tips for Google Chrome [and other browsers]<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Google Chrome is the world\u2019s most popular browser. If you use Chrome, we think you\u2019ll find these three tips helpful. And even if you don\u2019t use Chrome, one or more of these tricks will work with your favorite browser.<\/span><\/p>\n Show recently viewed pages with a click<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Did you know you can show a list of recently visited pages from the current tab? You can. All you have to do is right-click on the \u201cBack\u201d button and you\u2019ll see a list of recently visited pages. And as illogical as it sounds, this also works with the \u201cForward\u201d button too. This works in Firefox too.<\/span><\/p>\n Drag-a-tab<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n Did you know that Chrome lets you detach a tab and open it in a new window? It does! All you have to do is drag the tab outside the active window. And you can also add it back to the original windows too. Just drag it back and drop it. You can also rearrange the order of the open tabs on Chrome. This works in Firefox as well.<\/span><\/p>\n Drag your downloads anywhere you want.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n When you download a program using Chrome, you will see it on Chrome\u2019s status bar (the bar along the bottom of the browser window). Did you know you can drag that download tab out of Chrome to your desktop or any folder on your computer? Also, you\u2019ll note at the far-right edge of the download tab (which shows the file name) you\u2019ll see a little down-arrow. If you click that arrow you\u2019ll get options such as \u201cShow in folder\u201d. \u201cRun\u201d, \u201cAlways open files of this type\u201d and \u201cCancel\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n There\u2019s a good chance that one or more of these tips will work with your favorite browser so don\u2019t be afraid to try them with Firefox, Opera, Edge, or even good old IE.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Three Quick Tips for Google Chrome [and other browsers] Google Chrome is the world\u2019s most popular browser.
