{"id":21795,"date":"2021-07-18T08:30:39","date_gmt":"2021-07-18T12:30:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thundercloud.net\/infoave\/new\/?p=21795"},"modified":"2021-07-18T17:30:03","modified_gmt":"2021-07-18T21:30:03","slug":"windows-10-isnt-going-away-despite-windows-11","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thundercloud.net\/infoave\/new\/windows-10-isnt-going-away-despite-windows-11\/","title":{"rendered":"Windows 10 Isn&#8217;t Going Away Despite Windows 11"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Windows 10 Isn&#8217;t Going Away Despite Windows 11<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">A lot of Windows 10 users are concerned that their computers won&#8217;t run Windows 11, but they shouldn&#8217;t be. <\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">In the past, when Microsoft introduced a new version of Windows, they continued to support the previous version for a few more years, but they did not continue to improve and add features to it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">All Windows 10 users will be happy to learn that Windows 10 will not only continue to be supported but will also continue to receive version updates. For example, Windows 10 version 21H2 is now available to Windows insiders. <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.windows.com\/windowsexperience\/2021\/07\/15\/introducing-the-next-feature-update-to-windows-10-21h2\/\">According to this <em>Microsoft Blog<\/em> article<\/a>, posted on July 15, 2021&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\"><em>&#8220;Today we will begin releasing 21H2 builds to Windows Insiders who were moved to the Release Preview channel from the Beta channel because their specific devices did not meet the hardware requirements for Windows 11. This enables them to instead experience the latest innovations and enhancements in Windows 10 (note Insiders will not see new features noted in this blog right away, but in future Insider builds as they are ready&#8230;&#8221;<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">So, don&#8217;t be too concerned if your Windows 10 computer won&#8217;t run Windows 11.\u00a0 As <em>&#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/windowsreport.com\/cant-run-windows-11-windows-10-20h2-might-be-close-enough\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Windows Reports<\/a>&#8220;<\/em> says, &#8220;<strong>Can&#8217;t run Windows 11? Windows 10 21H2 might be close enough&#8221;.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Microsoft will continue to support Windows 10 until October 14, 2025. Windows 10 users will continue to receive updates until then.
