And no one likes quick and simple tips and tricks more than we do. It came to my attention just recently that clicking on the Settings (3 vertical dots) icon in Google Chrome\u2019s omnibar (toolbar) then \u201cMore tools\u201d reveals some very useful options.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2019\/chrome-tricks.png\" alt=\"Cloudeight InfoAve Premium Newsletter\" width=\"567\" height=\"493\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Create a desktop shortcut to a Web page<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Chrome allows you to save an entire web page to your hard drive. Click on the 3 vertical dot icon, then click \u201cMore tools\u201d and choose \u201cSave page as\u201d. Chrome will download the entire page and all its assets and contents (pictures, etc.) to a folder on your computer; from there you can view the page anytime you want, even if you\u2019re offline.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Save an entire web page to your computer<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Visit a page you want to create a shortcut for, then click on the 3 vertical dots at the top-right of Chrome. Select \u201cMore tools\u201d and choose \u201cCreate shortcut\u201d. A shortcut to the webpage you\u2019re visiting will be instantly placed on your desktop. How\u2019s that for quick and easy?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\"> Clear Chrome&#8217;s browsing data<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Here\u2019s one I have been overlooking for a long time. To clear your Chrome browsing data (history), click on the 3 vertical dots icon at the top-right of Chrome, then \u201cMore tools\u201d and choose \u201cClear browsing data\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Chrome Extensions<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Click on More tools &gt; Extensions. This opens Chrome extensions where you can view, enable, disable and\/or remove any installed Chrome extensions. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\"> Open Chrome\u2019s task manager<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Did you know that Chrome has its own task manager? It does! And if you want to see how much juice (resources) all those extensions you\u2019ve added to Chrome are using \u2013 along with how much juice Chrome is using, then Chrome\u2019s task manager can show you. Click on the 3 vertical dots at the top-right of Chrome, then \u201cMore tools\u201d then click on \u201cTask manager\u201d.
