Most you Gmail users know you can set and change fonts, font sizes, and colors, in Gmail on a per-email basis. But did you know you know you can set a default font – even change the default color? Yes, if you wish, you can even drive your recipients nuts by using bold text or huge fonts. If you like to annoy people, use 24-point, bold, red font. That really irritates most folks \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Here’s how to change your default font in Gmail:<\/p>\n

Go www.gmail.com<\/a> and log in to your account
\nClick on the “Settings” icon in the top right corner (it looks like a gear)
\nIn the Settings dialog that opens, click on \u201cLabs.\u201d
\nScroll down the list of options until you come to \u201cDefault Text Styling\u201d (figure below).
\nNow click \u201cEnable.\u201d
\nScroll down to near the bottom of the page and click the button labeled \u201cSave changes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Go back into \u201cSettings\u201d
\nIf “Settings” doesn’t automatically open to the “General” tab, click the \u201cGeneral\u201d tab to open it
\nScroll down to \u201cDefault text style\u201d
\nUse the toolbar to change settings (see image below)
\nDon’t forget to click \u201cSave Changes\u201d<\/p>\n
