We\u2019ve also added instructions for Microsoft Edge.\u00a0\u00a0If you\u2019re using Firefox, IE, Opera, Brave, or other browsers, you can drag the URL from the address bar to your desktop.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">If you use Chrome and you\u2019d like to put a shortcut on your desktop or taskbar to Facebook, Gmail, Outlook.com, Twitter, Cloudeight InfoAve, or any of your favorite sites, it\u2019s super easy to do.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">In Chrome, visit the site you want to create a shortcut to. Click on the Settings icon (3 vertical dots) at the top right corner of Chrome.\u00a0 Click \u201cMore tools\u201d then click \u201cCreate shortcut\u2026\u201d. That\u2019s it!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2019\/taskbar-shortcuts000.png\" alt=\"Cloudeight InfoAve\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">For this tip, I\u2019ve added three of the sites I visit most often: Outlook.com, Gmail, and Cloudeight InfoAve\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone \" src=\"https:\/\/thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2019\/taskbar-shortcuts0.png\" width=\"110\" height=\"347\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">And there they are. I named them as I wanted \u2013 but you can leave the names as they are or change them to whatever you want by right-clicking on the file and choosing \u201cRename\u201d.\u00a0 <em>BONUS MINI-TIP!\u00a0 if you want a fast, easy way to rename a file or folder, highlight it and press the F2 key.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Now if I want any of those shortcuts on my taskbar, all I have to do is right-click on one and choose \u201cAdd to taskbar\u201d.\u00a0 See?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2019\/taskbar-shortcuts.png\" alt=\"Cloudeight InfoAve\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">I\u2019ve added\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/thundercloud.net\/infoave\/new\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cloudeight InfoAve Tips &amp; Tricks<\/a><\/span> website and the Gmail account I used most to my taskbar. It\u2019s quick and easy. Try it! Click on the 3-horizontal dots &#8220;hamburger&#8221; icon in the top right corner of Edge. Scroll down the menu that appears and click &#8220;More tools&#8221;.
