Today, we&#8217;re featuring three news articles that grabbed our attention over the past week. We had a lot of positive feedback and excellent readership for our first two &#8220;Wednesday Newsbytes&#8221; so we are going to make &#8220;Wednesday Newsbytes&#8221; a regular feature &#8212; as long as you continue to enjoy it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<blockquote><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.techradar.com\/uk\/news\/windows-11-could-be-watermarked-on-unsupported-pcs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 24pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Windows 11 could be watermarked on unsupported PCs<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #999999;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Watermark warning on desktop now in testing<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Windows 11 has been changed so that it now presents a more visible warning, using a watermark on the desktop to caution those running the OS on an unsupported PC that the device doesn\u2019t meet its system requirements \u2013 although this move is only in testing right now.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">It follows a previous tweak whereby Microsoft placed a cautionary \u2018system requirements not met\u2019 message within System Settings, again only in preview builds of Windows 11, but the watermark \u2013 which appears above the system tray (where the clock is, bottom-right) \u2013 is a far heavier-handed warning.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.techradar.com\/uk\/news\/windows-11-could-be-watermarked-on-unsupported-pcs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Read more at TechRadar<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<blockquote><p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tomsguide.com\/news\/windows-11-is-getting-this-big-start-menu-upgrade-to-save-you-time\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 24pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Windows 11 is getting this big Start menu upgrade to save you time<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #999999;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Plus a revamped Task Manager and new touch gestures<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Microsoft has begun rolling out Windows 11\u2019s Insider Preview Build 22557 to testers, and there&#8217;s a handful of helpful new features that should please those who have already made the upgrade from Windows 10.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">For the majority of testers, the most pleasing of these will be the ability to customize the pinned part of the Start menu with folders. Simply drag one app on top of another and a folder will be created, with the option to rearrange the apps within. Don\u2019t Worry! Microsoft Drops KB5010415 for Windows 10 PCs<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Windows 11 is all the rage right now, with Microsoft dropping features and improvements for this latest operating system outside of the annual update cadence. But, if you still haven&#8217;t upgraded to Windows 11 or can&#8217;t due to minimum system requirements or any other reason, the Windows maker does continue to deliver updates for Windows 10, as well.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Microsoft has released KB5010415 for the newer versions of Windows 10. Build 19042.1566 is available for version 20H2, 19043.1566 for version 21H1, and 19044.1566 for version 21H2.
