How to Reset Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Mozilla Firefox (and why you may need to)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Installing extensions can add functionality to your browser. And some of them are quite helpful \u2013 uBlock Origin<\/a><\/span> for example. But others can be malicious and cause your browser to display endless unwanted popups, tech support scam ads, popups, random advertisements, or worse.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n If you are having problems with your browser, no matter the cause, resetting it is a good option. Resetting your browser removes or disables all extensions and resets your browser to its original state.
