63 One-Liners For a New Year<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n I read an article the other day while I was out having lunch (it was a long wait). and I bookmarked it because I felt it would be a fun way for all of us to start the new year. The article was entitled “63 One-Liners That Prove You Don’t Need Many Words To Make Some People Laugh” written by Evelina Medina from BuzzFeed<\/a>. The keywords in that title are “Some People Laugh”. Some of these “one-liners” left me scratching my head, some made me laugh, and some made me roll my eyes.<\/span><\/p>\n We’re all different, so I don’t know what you’re reaction will be, but since it’s a new year and I’m writing this on New Year’s Day when I’m supposed to be taking the day off, I figured this is a good way to “not” work but still work and get something done.<\/span><\/p>\n These are called “One-Liners” but not all of them are one line, Many of them sound like bad “dad jokes”, but some made me laugh. So, I hope some of them make you laugh too. And, yes, I’m sure some of them will have you rolling your eyes as well.<\/span><\/p>\n To give you a small sample of what you’ll find in today’s semi “site pick”, I submit these “one-liners” for your perusal…<\/span><\/p>\n “You don’t need a parachute to go skydiving. You need a parachute to go skydiving twice.”<\/span><\/p>\n “It’s hard to explain puns to kleptomaniacs because they always take things literally.”<\/span><\/p>\n “What’s the difference between a well-dressed man on a bike and a poorly dressed man on a unicycle? Attire.”<\/span><\/p>\n “I refused to believe my roadworker father was stealing from his job, but when I got home, all the signs were there.”<\/span><\/p>\n “People say I’m condescending. That means I talk down to people.”<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n There are 58 more where those came from. I hope some of them make you laugh – or at least smile – because that would be a great way to start the new year.
