Each Tuesday, we&#8217;ll feature three quick and easy Windows tips for Windows 10 and\/or Windows 11.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">So, now in addition to our Wednesday Newsbytes and our Saturday Bonus Questions and Answers, we&#8217;re adding Three Tips Tuesday&#8221;. We love your feedback!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 24pt;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Three Tips Tuesday &gt; P<\/span>art One<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><strong>Two Quick &amp; Helpful Tips for Windows 11<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Windows 11 is built on Windows 10 and although they look different, under the hood they are a lot alike. Because of this basic similarity, most of our tips are for both Windows 11 and Windows 10.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Today, we have two quick tips for Windows 11 although Windows 10 users have the same basic features, they look and work somewhat differently on Windows 11.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><strong>Tip #1. Windows 11\u2019s Win X Menu<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Windows 11\u2019s Windows Key + X menu is similar to Windows 10\u2019s, however since Windows 11 does not have the option to right-click on the taskbar to open Task Manager the Win X menu offers a quick way to open Task Manager as well as a quick way to uninstall apps and programs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Just hold down the Windows key and tap the X key to open the Win X menu on Windows 11.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2022\/win11x0.png\" alt=\"Windows 11 - Windows Key + X menu - Cloudeight InfoAve\" width=\"311\" height=\"898\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">As you can see you can open the Task Manager, Shu down, restart, sign out, and open \u201cInstalled apps\u201d to quickly uninstall a program or app.\u00a0 Once \u201cInstalled apps\u201d opens, find the program or app you want to remove, click on the three-dot icon next to it, and click \u201cUninstall\u201d. That\u2019s all there is to it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2022\/win11x.png\" width=\"600\" height=\"539\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Oh, and one more thing, did you know you can open the Task Manager on Windows 11 (or Windows 10) by using the CTRL+SHIFT+ESC keyboard shortcut?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><strong>Tip #2. Windows 11 Action Center<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">In Windows 11 the Action Center is split into two separate panels.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Notification Center &amp; the Calendar<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Click on the Time and Date on the taskbar to open the Notification Center and the Calendar.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2023\/notify-calendar1.png\" alt=\"Windows 11 Notification Center &amp; Calendar - Cloudeight InfoAve\" width=\"540\" height=\"1020\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><strong>The Settings Panel in Windows 11\u2019s Action Center<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">To open the separate Settings panel, click on one of the following: The Speaker, Network connection, or Battery icon. This Action Center Settings panel consists of your PC\u2019s connectivity options, Bluetooth options, brightness and volume controls, and accessibility features, as well as cast, nearby sharing, and project\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2023\/action11b.png\" alt=\"Windows 11 Action Center's Settings Panel - Cloudeight\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">You can remove any of the items showing in the Action Center, by clicking the &#8220;pencil&#8221; icon near the bottom edge of the Action Center.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2023\/action11e.png\" alt=\"Windows 11 Action Center - Cloudeight\" width=\"549\" height=\"760\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">You can remove items from the Action Center panel by clicking the &#8220;unpin&#8221; icon next to the item you want to remove&#8230; and\/or add items by clicking the + icon near the bottom edge<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2023\/action11f.png\" alt=\"Windows 11 Action Center - Cloudeight\" width=\"540\" height=\"720\" \/><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Tip #3.
