You can do it, but the add-on you need to do it is  \t\thidden deep in Gmail Labs. The &#8220;Inserting Images&#8221; add-on from Gmail Labs  \t\t\tneeds to be enabled before you can upload a picture from your PC and  \t\t\tinsert it into a Gmail email message.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s how you do it:<\/p>\n<p>1. Login to your Gmail account<br \/>\n2. In the top right of the Gmail page, click on the Gear icon (Settings)<br \/>\n3. In the Settings dialog, click \u201cLabs.\u201d<br \/>\n4. You&#8217;ll have to scroll quite a way down the page to find \u201cInserting  \t\timages\u201d (see image below).<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: 0px initial initial;\" src=\"http:\/\/thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2011\/gmail-images.png\" border=\"0\" alt=\"Cloudeight InfoAve\" width=\"531\" height=\"96\" \/><br \/>\n5. Click \u201cEnable.\u201d<br \/>\n6. Be sure you go to the bottom of the page and click \u201cSave changes.\u201d Or  \t\tyour changes won&#8217;t be saved. Don&#8217;t forget this step.<\/p>\n<p>OK. Now  \t\t\tyou&#8217;re ready to insert images from your computer into a Gmail email  \t\t\tmessage:<\/p>\n<p>1. Now open a Gmail compose window<br \/>\n2. Look at the  \t\t\ttoolbar at the top of your message. You&#8217;ll see an icon has been added to the  \t\t\tnormal row of editing icons. It looks like a faded blue\/green box  \t\t\twith hills and a cloud in it (it&#8217;s hard to tell). If you hover over  \t\t\tit will say &#8220;Insert Image&#8221; (see below):<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: 0px initial initial;\" src=\"http:\/\/thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2011\/gmail-images1.png\" border=\"0\" alt=\"Cloudeight InfoAve\" width=\"386\" height=\"134\" \/><br \/>\n3. Click on that icon and you  \t\t\twill get a dialog that allows you to browse your computer find an image  \t\t\tto upload (or you have the option to choose to enter the URL of an image located on  \t\t\tthe Web).<br \/>\n4. Once you&#8217;ve found the image you want to insert,  \t\t\tjust click &#8220;Add Image.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s it.
