The streaming world was very different then. Netflix was the king of streaming apps and while there were others, they weren\u2019t very good. The streaming world has changed. \u00a0Now there are dozens of free streaming apps some offering hundreds of thousands of titles in every genre you can imagine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Streaming TV has become increasingly popular in recent years, as more and more people cut the cord on traditional cable and satellite TV subscriptions. There are now dozens of different streaming services available, offering a wide variety of content, from movies and TV shows to live sports and news.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\"> I\u00a0 spend much more time watching streaming TV than I do watching cable TV. I would say I watch streaming TV about 80% of the time. The only reason I still have cable is so I can watch the Cleveland Guardians games. Just recently Fubo TV announced I can watch the Guardians there. It offers a variety of movies, TV shows, and live news.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Plex<\/strong>: A one-stop destination to stream movies, TV shows, and music. Plex offers free ad-supported movies, shows, and live TV together with the ability to easily search.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Freevee: <\/strong>Freevee is a free, ad-supported streaming service that is owned and operated by Amazon, Freevee has a wide variety of content available, including movies, TV shows, and original content.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Sling Freestream<\/strong>: Sing Freestream is a free ad-support streaming service that offers more than 210 channels and over 40,000 on-demand titles with genres including news, sports, game shows, crime dramas, sitcoms, home improvement, and cooking. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">There are many free news apps:<\/strong><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">\u00a0 There are free streaming apps for most news outlets (Fox, ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, Newsmax, MSNBC, News Nation, and more)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\"><strong>Streaming apps that are not free<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">We listed a few of the many available free streaming apps. Services like Hulu + Live TV, FuboTV, Sling TV, YouTube TV, and many others. None of these services have contracts so you\u2019re free to change services anytime you like. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\"><strong>You&#8217;ll need a streaming device<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">To install streaming apps you\u2019ll need a streaming device.
