How to Quickly Email an Article or Webpage to Yourself (or Others) Using the Microsoft Edge Share Feature<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

If you use Microsoft Edge, here’s a tip that shows you several easy ways to send links to web pages or articles you’re reading to yourself<\/span><\/p>\n

To share links to pages and articles you’ll need to use the “Share” feature in Microsoft Edge.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

How to use the Share feature in Microsoft Edge<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

When you find an article or web page you want to share you can share it easily using the Microsoft Edge Share feature. <\/span><\/p>\n

Click the 3 horizontal dots in the top-right corner of Microsoft Edge<\/span><\/p>\n

In the menu that appears, click “More tools”…<\/span><\/p>\n

In the menu that opens, click on “Share”…<\/span><\/p>\n

The Share menu will open…<\/span><\/p>\n

If you have a default email program like Thunderbird, OE Classic, etc.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

If you have a default email program set such as Outlook, OE Classic, Thunderbird, Windows Mail app, etc. In the Share menu click the Email icon under “Email to myself”. When your email client opens, it will open with an email all ready to send with the name of the article and a link to the article included in the message body. All you need to do is click “Send”.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you use Gmail<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

If you use Gmail it’s just as easy. Just click on the Gmail icon in the Share menu. If you’re already signed in to Gmail, an email containing the name of the article and the title will already be composed. All you have to do is fill in your email address in the “To” field and click Send.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you use Outlook.com or Hotmail<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

If you use Outlook.com or Hotmail, just click on the Outlook icon. If you’re already signed in to Outlook.com or Hotmail, an email containing the name of the article and the title will already be composed. All you have to do is fill in your email address in the “To” field and click Send.<\/span><\/p>\n

You can also use Microsoft Edge’s Share feature to share pages or articles with others…<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Of course, not only can you send web pages or articles to yourself this way, but you can also share them with others.
