It\u2019s been part of Windows for a long time.<\/p>\n<p>This trick applies to Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 both 32bit and 64 bit versions.<\/p>\n<p>You can try this trick even if you\u2019re not having problems. I will terminate all running processes and programs in 30 seconds \u2013 and you\u2019ll have no option to cancel the shutdown sequence. So if you want to try this tip, be sure you don\u2019t have any unfinished work open. If you do, you\u2019ll lose it.<\/p>\n<p>OK here\u2019s the trick:<\/p>\n<p>Press the Windows Key + R<br \/>\nIn the command line type shutdown \/s<br \/>\nPress Enter<\/p>\n<p>Your computer will shut down in 30 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to restart your computer use shutdown \/r<\/p>\n<p>Pretty easy. Pretty quick.
