Did you know that Windows Vista and Widows 7 both include a program that lets you give your computer a thorough checkup? It does and here’s how you can access it.<\/p>\n
1. Open Control Panel
\n2. Type System and Performance in the start menu search
\n3. In the Tasks list (on the left) click “Advanced Tools”
\n4. Click “Generate a system health report” (the last item on the list)<\/p>\n
Each report takes about a minute or so to gather information, so it won’t take much of your time to run several reports.<\/p>\n
If you want to see how your system performance degrades over time as you open and close numerous programs and browse the web, do a report right after you’ve rebooted your computer and before you’ve opened any programs. Then run another after you’ve opened several programs, browsed the Web and used your computer the way you normally do – then compare the reports.
