You can turn it on from there. I just tried my Touch keyboard in Windows 11 on both Windows 11 PCs, and it works fine. If that doesn\u2019t work, then you have a Windows issue that may require you to reinstall Windows 11 or run SFC\/DISM scans. Or perhaps a future update will fix it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Pinning a folder to the taskbar is not the same as Windows 10. Even in Windows 10, it was not just a matter of dragging and dropping \u2013 see this tutorial. It does not work in Windows 11.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">It\u2019s easy to pin a folder or app to the Start menu in Windows 11, though. All you have to do is right-click and choose \u201cPin to start\u201d. So, I\u2019m not sure why you\u2019re having trouble pinning apps\/folders to the start menu. The main start menu does not show everything that is in the menu. To see the entire start menu, click on \u201cAll\u201d near the top right. OneDrive automatically (by default) backs up your personal folders (Documents, Pictures, etc.). OneDrive comes with all Windows 10 and Windows 11 computers and you get 5 GB of space free. The files that are in OneDrive appear under OneDrive in File Explorer. For example, you can see my OnDrive folders in the screenshot below.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2021\/1drive.png%20\" alt=\"Cloudeight InfoAve\" width=\"252\" height=\"416\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">I have a subscription to Microsoft 365 ($.99\/month) and with that, I get one terabyte of OneDrive space, so I have a lot more than I\u2019ll ever use, so I will never run out of space. If you don\u2019t have Microsoft 365 or you have not purchased more OneDrive space, you have 5 GB of free space.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">As far as using it, it\u2019s automatic. OneDrive starts with Windows, and if you\u2019re signed into Windows with a Microsoft account, you\u2019re also signed in to OneDrive. It will automatically back up your personal files \u2013 at least until you run out of space. You can access files in OneDrive as if they were on your PC \u2013 just open the folder under OneDrive and click on the file(s) you want to open.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">There are many other options \u2013 for example storing files in both locations, closing OneDrive, and moving all files back to your PC. It may be an internet connection problem. So the first thing you should do is call your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and have them check your connection. Have them check your modem\/router as well.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Your mouse may be going bad, in need of new batteries, or you may need to switch USB ports. It\u2019s hard for us to guess on that one.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">As far as your Windows Update problems go\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">It could be a lot of things but if you have problems with internet connectivity that would explain the update issue. A combination of one or more of the above.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">If any one or more of the above is true, then your computer will lag and be unresponsive or less responsive than it should be.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">You can do a little investigating by opening Task Manager (CTRL + SHIFT +ESC) and in the Processes tab, looking at the percentage of CPU and RAM CPU should not consistently be over 30% (it will go up and down) and RAM should average less than 60%. Also, look under \u201cDisk\u201d. Disk activity should always be low (under 15%) unless you or a program is running some kind of scan. If you don\u2019t see any of these numbers, click \u201cMore details\u201d at the bottom of Task Manager.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Also, at the top of the Task Manager, you\u2019ll see a tab labeled \u201cStartup\u201d. Click that tab to view the programs starting with Windows. Other than your antivirus\/antimalware there should not be more than 4 or 5 applications listed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Without actually checking out your computer, these are my best guesses.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">You should never turn off your anti-virus\/anti-malware software.
