This tip works with Windows 10 and Windows 11.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><strong>Here\u2019s a little-known but quick and easy trick.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">You can use the Windows Key + a number key to open them. The programs on your taskbar are \u201cnumbered\u201d from left to right. So, the first icon is #1 and the next one to its right is #2, and so on.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">To open a program from its icon that\u2019s pinned to your taskbar, hold down the Windows key + the number key that corresponds to the location of the pinned program icon on your taskbar.
