And most do. And most of us let Windows remember that password for us, so we don\u2019t have to type it in whenever we boot up and connect. However, sometimes, for instance, when setting up a new computer, tablet, or smartphone, you will need to know your network password. And if you don\u2019t remember what it was, you\u2019ll be fumbling around trying to get your devices connected.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Thankfully, it is really easy to find your network password. All you need to do is enter one simple command in an admin command prompt (or admin W in\u00a0 and in just a few seconds you\u2019ll know what your network password is.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Here\u2019s how you do it:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Step one: If your using Windows 10 or Windows 11, type CMD in the taskbar search. When Command Prompt appears, click on Run as administrator. Or if\u00a0 you&#8217;re using Windows 11, you can also use Windows Terminal (admin)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/thundercloud.net\/infoave\/images\/2020\/admin.png\" alt=\"Cloudeight InfoAve tips &amp; tricks\" width=\"400\" height=\"350\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Step two: Enter the following command, at the prompt in the Command Prompt windows. Substitute your WiFi network name for my network name OMAHA. No! You can\u2019t see it! I blurred it! I don&#8217;t want EB using my Wi-Fi. Are you crazy?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">If you don\u2019t know the name of your network, you can find it in the Network &amp; Sharing Center. You can find Network &amp; Sharing Center in the Control Panel or Settings &gt; Network &amp; Internet &gt; Network and Sharing Center.
