Microsoft will officially end its free support for Windows 10 on October 14, 2025. While your computer will still function after this date, continuing to use it without official support is not recommended due to several significant risks.<\/span><\/p>\n

Here’s why Windows 10 users should not be tempted to use Windows 10 past its end-of-support date:<\/span><\/p>\n

1. Security Vulnerabilities – The #1 reason you should not use Windows 10 after October 14, 2024.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

This is the most critical reason. After the end-of-life date, Microsoft will no longer release free security updates or patches. This means that any newly discovered vulnerabilities in the Windows 10 code will remain unpatched, leaving your system exposed to potential exploits.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cybercriminals actively look for and exploit these unpatched flaws, creating a widening security gap over time. This makes your PC a prime target for malware, ransomware, and other cyberattacks.<\/span><\/p>\n

While Microsoft’s ESU is only offered for one year, 0patch promised to provide security patches for Windows 10 for at least 5 years.<\/span><\/p>\n
